Sierra is a leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, serving major brands like The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank. The company is headquartered in San Francisco with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
In this role, you will build Sierra's enterprise platform capabilities, focusing on foundational systems that enable the world's largest enterprises to embed Sierra into their existing ecosystems. Your work will span identity and access management, integration points, and extensibility features that enterprise customers require.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building foundational systems and capabilities for enterprise platform needs, including identity, access management, integration points, and extensibility
- Scaling Sierra's platform across organizations, regions, and use cases while maintaining performance and simplicity for complex enterprise environments
- Ensuring high standards for security, compliance readiness, reliability, and operational excellence across the platform
- Working with enterprise customers who have complex environments, strict security requirements, and high expectations for reliability

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building production products and systems
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Passion for being on the frontier of AI products
- Pride in building reliable, maintainable, and secure systems that scale
- Motivation and high-agency to drive outcomes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building enterprise features such as SSO, RBAC, IAM, audit logs, or compliance-adjacent systems
- Experience with integrations, APIs, and working with complex customer environments
- Backend-leaning full-stack experience building enterprise SaaS applications
- Security-adjacent experience (e.g., auth, permissions, data isolation, threat modeling)
- Experience building AI-powered products or platforms
