Mindset Care, Inc. is seeking a Social Security Disability Hearing Case Manager to join a team dedicated to helping individuals with mental illness navigate the Social Security Disability benefits process. The company was founded to improve the experience for clients and caregivers applying for SSDI and SSI benefits, with a team of Social Security Disability lawyers and representatives who have helped thousands of individuals. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients throughout their claims journey. You will gather required documentation and information from clients to support their disability claims, provide guidance and support throughout what can be a lengthy claims process, and advocate on their behalf to ensure accurate and efficient processing. You will communicate directly with Social Security Administration officials to resolve issues or discrepancies, maintain detailed records of all client interactions and claim status updates, and stay current on changes to Social Security policies and procedures. The role involves high call volume and requires strong client relationship management. This is a fully remote position with a 40-hour work week (typical hours 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST) and limited overtime. You will need reliable internet (minimum 100 Mbps download, 30 Mbps upload) and a dedicated workspace. The company provides a MacBook, headset, keyboard, and monitor as needed. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field (preferred) - Previous experience working with Social Security claims or similar benefits programs - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate support - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software programs - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of Social Security policies and procedures (preferred) - Experience working in a remote or virtual office environment (preferred) - Knowledge of virtual phone systems and online scheduling software (preferred)
