Fluidstack is building civilization-scale AI compute infrastructure, acquiring power, designing and operating data centers at gigawatt scale. The company is singularly focused on deploying 10-100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack from hardware to software. As Site Selection Manager, you will lead the site procurement strategy for Fluidstack's US data center portfolio. Your core responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating powered land for large-scale development, negotiating leases with data center operators, and conducting comprehensive site due diligence at 200MW+ scale. You'll assess utility and behind-the-meter power viability, evaluate buildability through title documentation, surveys, geotechnical reports, and environmental studies, and understand permitting requirements and their construction schedule implications. You will maintain critical relationships with brokers, landowners, and developers to ensure no valid site is missed, run vendor due diligence including on-site audits with specialist engineers, and work directly with the DC Design team to keep sites aligned with the latest technical requirements. You'll own capacity planning and forecasting across clients and regions, partner with Finance on multi-year infrastructure investment and cost structures, and lead commercial negotiations with landowners and developers. The ideal candidate has worked in real estate focused on data centers or large industrial projects and has closed large, complex deals. You assess land viability for data center development fast and rigorously across power, buildability, and permitting dimensions. You bring a customer-centric mindset, strong ownership, and proactive problem-solving. You align stakeholders across diverse internal and external teams and are willing to travel 20%+ as projects require. Bonus experience includes behind-the-meter power evaluation, hyperscale land deals, utility interconnection familiarity, and multi-region portfolio planning. Fluidstack operates with extreme ownership and full autonomy, driving velocity through first-principles thinking and a love of the game. You'll work at high intensity on the frontier of AI infrastructure.
