LeoLabs is seeking a Site Acquisition Lead to identify, evaluate, secure, and develop sites for advanced radar installations across the United States and globally. This role leads end-to-end site acquisition efforts, including site identification, feasibility assessments, negotiations, permitting, and coordination with landowners, government entities, and internal engineering teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead site acquisition strategy and execution for radar and sensor installation sites across the U.S. and internationally
- Identify and evaluate potential sites based on technical, environmental, regulatory, and operational requirements
- Conduct site feasibility studies in collaboration with engineering, RF, and systems teams
- Manage negotiations with landowners, government agencies, and stakeholders
- Oversee permitting, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance processes
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure site readiness for deployment
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and government partners
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
The ideal candidate has experience delivering complex infrastructure, real estate, or sensor deployment projects in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or similar mission-critical environments. You should have strong project management skills, experience navigating government and regulatory processes, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent site acquisition initiatives. Experience with real estate transactions, site selection, or infrastructure deployment in defense or aerospace is highly valued.
