Impulse Space is seeking a Simulation Visualization Engineer to develop and maintain tools for visualizing simulation results and models that emulate camera systems. In this role, you will work closely with the Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Space Operations, Mission Design, Business Development, and Testbed teams to create displays and high-quality renders of space vehicles executing missions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing visualization tools for simulation results and orbital mechanics models
- Creating camera system emulation models with high fidelity
- Producing high-quality renders and displays of space vehicle operations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including GNC, Space Ops, and Mission Design
- Emulating vision systems deployed on orbit to support algorithm development and testing
- Supporting testbed operations and validation activities
