As Settlement Assistant Manager, you will manage and support various aspects of the organization's business activities and counterparty relationships. Key responsibilities include opening and managing crypto currency accounts and wallets held on various counterparty platforms; handling and approving payment instructions raised by business partners; verifying and cross-checking payment amounts and counterparty wallet information; completing payment processes and releasing funds while ensuring due diligence on all procedures; and supporting month-end reporting processes.
You will operate with teamwork and flexibility, sometimes working evening hours or weekends/public holidays to liaise with counterparties across different time zones. This role requires strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to partner effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline, plus 5-7 years of experience in treasury, banking operations, middle-office functions, and/or payments processing. You must have strong knowledge of treasury, trade settlements, and funds movement processes. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and communication abilities are essential. Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous given the need to work closely with both English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. The role operates on a shift-based rotation schedule.
