Salary: USD 119,000 - 161,000 / annual
FalconX is seeking a Senior Trade Operations Associate to join its institutional crypto trading platform. You will manage all aspects of trade settlement and operations for a portfolio of counterparties, serving as the primary point of contact for settlement requests and KPI tracking.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handle incoming counterparty settlement requests within agreed timeframes and manage assigned KPIs
- Collaborate with Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams to meet client expectations
- Reconcile trades, transfers, and inventory across internal systems and external partners (banks, custodians)
- Monitor daily inventory needs for settlement, lending, and borrowing activities; coordinate with Treasury Management
- Provide inputs to compliance and risk teams on control design within the evolving regulatory landscape
- Ensure adherence to established trade operations processes for regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate trade and settlement data reporting
- Perform reconciliations between internal and external systems to identify and resolve data breaks
- Improve reconciliation processes and identify gaps to ensure completeness
You will develop deep expertise in cryptocurrency trade operations and the institutional trading lifecycle. The role demands strong multitasking, prioritization, and self-management skills in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Requirements: 4-7 years of experience in trading firms, hedge funds, or investment banks; Bachelor's degree or higher; experience with Derivatives, Spot, and/or Credit products; strong organizational and self-management skills; comfort working in fast-paced environments; and genuine interest in becoming an expert on digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
