Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Telecom Infrastructure Engineer to serve as the critical bridge between the Facilities organization and external low-voltage design and integration vendors. This role focuses on IT infrastructure facility assessments, strategic planning, and structured cabling design standards. You will conduct comprehensive site visits to assess infrastructure needs including power, cooling, structured cabling, network capacity, and security. You'll develop technical site plans in collaboration with third-party architects, low-voltage design firms, and engineering teams. Your responsibilities include gathering detailed infrastructure requirements, translating complex technical findings into actionable Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring compliance with corporate IT standards and security policies, and managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs. Key responsibilities: - Establish and maintain the bridge between Facilities and external vendors, providing essential IT technical consultation - Conduct site visits and assessments (travel required) - Develop technical site plans collaboratively with architects and design firms - Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards and security policies - Translate technical details into actionable SOWs - Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders - Provide clear, opinionated guidance and push back when necessary for project alignment - Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes This role requires someone with deep understanding of corporate IT standards, building physical networks, security policies, and vendor-agnostic network technologies to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 6 years of experience in Network and/or Systems Infrastructure role - Minimum 4 years of experience in infrastructure analysis, site build, and M&A assessments - Proven experience gathering and evaluating infrastructure requirements - Strong ability to translate technical details into actionable SOWs - Strong understanding of construction phases and analyzing construction drawings - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders - Strong understanding of corporate IT standards and security policies - Ability to conduct thorough site assessments (power, cooling, structured cabling, network capacity, security) - Experience working with third-party architects, low-voltage design firms, and engineering teams - Extensive experience with vendor-agnostic network switching, wireless, and routing - Experience with ticketing systems and managing ticket queues - Strong documentation and problem-solving skills - Ability to travel to remote sites frequently - Must be able to lift 50 pounds - Able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Currently holds or can obtain BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) Certification - Certification in project management or related fields - Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects (expansions, remodels, retrofits, greenfield sites) - Experience designing telecom room layouts and cabling conveyance - Familiarity with M&A processes and assessments - Knowledge of ICD 705 / TEMPEST requirements
