Salary: USD 225,000 - 275,000 / annual
Attotude is seeking a Senior Technology Productization Lead to own the transition from working prototype to shippable product. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead the productization team through final design decisions, harden designs for reliability and manufacturability, support customer demos and evaluations, and prepare the company for volume production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the productization team through final design selection, balancing performance, cost, reliability, and schedule
- Drive design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-reliability work, including qualification planning and failure analysis
- Own the readiness of customer demos and evaluation units to ensure consistent performance
- Partner with contract manufacturers and suppliers to prepare for volume ramp, addressing yield, test strategy, capacity, and supply chain risk
- Work with leadership and customer-facing teams to shape go-to-market timing and translate customer feedback into product decisions
- Build, mentor, and grow the team as the company scales, establishing clear processes for design reviews, NPI gates, and handoffs
You will set direction, make hard tradeoffs, and stay close to engineering work day to day, serving as a bridge between technical teams, manufacturing partners, and company leadership.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in hardware product development, with significant time leading productization or NPI teams
- Track record of taking complex technology (semiconductor, optical, RF, high-speed interconnect, or similar) from prototype to volume production
- Hands-on experience with reliability qualification, DFM, and manufacturing ramp with external partners
- Strong people leadership: demonstrated ability to build and manage technical teams and make decisions under ambiguity
- Clear communication skills with engineers, executives, and customers, including presenting technical results in demos and reviews
Nice to have:
- Background in data center, networking, or AI hardware
- Experience with high-speed SerDes, advanced packaging, or millimeter-wave/sub-THz systems
- Prior startup experience, especially through first-product launch
