The Senior Technical Success Manager, Emerging Enterprise role owns customer deployment, adoption, and value realization across Amplitude's platform. This is an individual contributor role focused on execution and outcomes, managing a portfolio of 40-50 accounts from presales through renewal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own deployment, adoption, and outcomes for a portfolio of 40-50 accounts across the full customer lifecycle
- Lead deployment planning and implementation: scoping, plan creation, kickoff meetings, use case alignment, and coordination of internal and partner delivery teams
- Track and manage risks and issues across active deployments, driving resolution before impact
- Monitor portfolio health using AI-augmented signals, engaging proactively to accelerate adoption and drive renewals
- Drive product adoption through live working sessions, identify new use cases, and showcase platform capabilities
- Develop and maintain success plans tied to customer goals, tracking milestones and risks
- Build executive business reviews connecting Amplitude usage to measurable business impact
- Partner with Account Executives on renewals and expansion, building value stories and identifying growth opportunities
- Serve as voice of the customer internally, channeling product feedback and market needs
- Develop repeatable playbooks and share best practices across the team
The role requires strong business acumen to understand each customer's business model and growth levers, technical fluency with Amplitude's data architecture and instrumentation methods, delivery excellence across a full book of business, and ownership of portfolio outcomes including retention. You will be expected to provide prescriptive customer guidance, recognize adoption gaps early, and operate with curiosity and self-sufficiency in ambiguous situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or similar customer-facing role in B2B SaaS
- 3+ years specifically leading enterprise software deployments where change management and data governance were core priorities
- 2+ years managing a portfolio of 8-10 strategic accounts
- Experience co-owning renewals and contributing to expansion pipeline alongside sales counterparts
- Experience training or enabling non-technical teams to become data-sufficient
- Excellent communication skills to influence from data engineers to C-level executives
- Expert-level project management skills and ability to thrive in independent, fast-paced environment
NICE TO HAVE:
- Prior experience with digital analytics, product analytics, or adjacent data/experimentation platforms
- Background in consulting, solutions delivery, or implementation
- Experience using Amplitude as a practitioner
