Salary: USD 150,000 - 210,000 / annual
Astranis is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee propulsion, mechanical, and thermal engineering development across all satellite programs. The role bridges engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders (supply chain, software, operations), ensuring projects meet objectives, schedules, and budgets.
Key responsibilities include: developing integrated schedules with measurable milestones for mechanical, propulsion, and thermal subsystems; proactively identifying and solving cross-discipline technical challenges; tracking and documenting project progress; driving risk and opportunity management; implementing strategies to keep projects on schedule; and collaborating with the Program Management office to embed best practices across Astranis.
The ideal candidate has a BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, plus 3+ years in a project management role and 3+ years in an engineering role. Strong communication, attention to detail, and proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments are essential. Familiarity with Jira and Smartsheets is a bonus.

Compensation includes base salary, significant equity via stock options, company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance, 401(k), flexible PTO, and on-site catered meals.
