The Senior Technical Project Manager will direct complex, cross-functional projects across the organization, serving as the primary authority on technical project management methodologies and release coordination. This role requires strategic oversight of large-scale initiatives, close collaboration with multiple departments on schedules and deliverables, and strict adherence to design controls and FDA compliance processes.
Key responsibilities include: serving as the primary point person for complex cross-functional projects; overseeing detailed planning, coordination, execution, and delivery; identifying workflow bottlenecks and implementing automation; proactively identifying and resolving cross-team dependencies with emphasis on risk mitigation; holding teams accountable with clear performance standards; maintaining FDA audit readiness (Design Controls, Software Validation, QMSR standards); leading audit follow-ups and medical-grade certifications; managing Jira for controlled spaces with full traceability per IEC 62304; coaching product development teams on best practices; leading integration of AI-first initiatives into engineering workflows; and ensuring project alignment with program objectives and strategic goals.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; 5+ years as TPM, Project Manager, or Release Manager in software development; proven ability to construct detailed plans for complex software projects with proactive identification of dependencies and risks; proven experience leveraging AI agents, LLMs, and low-code/no-code tools for automation; proven audit management experience (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.); advanced Jira administration skills including workflow customization and permissions; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights using process metrics; exceptional cross-functional coordination and communication skills; outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities; and strategic problem-solving with proactive risk mitigation.
