Graphcore is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to own the planning and coordination of manufacturing test delivery for new AI compute products. This role sits at the intersection of hardware development, manufacturing operations, and execution, responsible for turning complex test strategy into manufacturing readiness. You will plan and coordinate across multiple technical teams including Chip Test, Board Test, System Test, Lab, and Silicon Characterisation. Your responsibilities include building end-to-end project plans, managing cross-functional dependencies, and keeping technical programmes moving across geographically distributed regions (UK, Taiwan, India, US). You will align engineering, operations, and external manufacturing partners around scope, milestones, risks, and critical decisions. Key responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive manufacturing test delivery plans for new product introductions - Connect and coordinate activity across chip test, board test, system test, lab, and silicon characterisation teams - Manage complex dependencies across technical teams, suppliers, and manufacturing constraints - Coordinate DfX (Design for X) reviews and improve planning processes for test and characterisation work - Drive alignment across geographically distributed engineering and operations teams - Identify risks early and help teams act before issues become blockers - Tailor delivery methods (waterfall, Agile, Scrum) to fit technical delivery needs Required experience: - Strong programme and project management skills in hardware-centric, cross-functional environments - Experience in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, manufacturing test, lab, or silicon characterisation programmes - Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and drive alignment across distributed teams - Working knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent) - Ability to work across engineering, operations, and manufacturing partner ecosystems The role offers flexible working, comprehensive healthcare, phantom equity participation, wellbeing allowance, enhanced family leave, and learning & development opportunities.
