Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the software release lifecycle for the Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) division. This is a high-impact operational role reporting to engineering leadership, responsible for driving end-to-end release management from planning through deployment.
You will serve as the operational backbone for release cycles, ensuring on-time, high-quality software delivery to military customers. Key responsibilities include: architecting and evolving quality gates and test strategies to embed quality throughout the development pipeline; bridging engineering, test & evaluation, and program management teams to ensure seamless cross-functional execution; establishing prioritization frameworks and decision-making processes that cut through ambiguity; identifying and rapidly resolving technical risks and release blockers; championing continuous process improvements that balance speed with stability; and leveraging data and industry-standard tools (JIRA, Confluence) to track progress, visualize metrics, and maintain transparent stakeholder communication.
You bring 4+ years of technical program management experience in mission-critical, high-paced software environments. You possess deep technical acumen across software development lifecycles, system architectures, testing methodologies, and QA principles. You are relentlessly focused on prioritization, with proven ability to identify and drive critical-path issues to resolution. Your communication skills enable you to navigate technical discussions and translate complexity for diverse audiences. You are data-driven, highly organized, and thrive in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.
Desired experience includes direct exposure to release management, CI/CD pipelines, and complex multi-component build systems; background in defense, hardware, autonomy, or robotics deployments; and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. US Top Secret clearance eligibility is required.
