Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee the software release lifecycle for the Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) division. This is a high-impact operational role requiring both strategic systems thinking and execution excellence.
You will own the end-to-end software release process from planning through testing and deployment, ensuring on-time, high-quality releases that meet customer requirements. Key responsibilities include architecting and continuously evolving quality gates and test strategies, serving as the connective tissue between engineering, test & evaluation, and program management teams, and establishing clear frameworks for prioritization and decision-making that help teams navigate ambiguity.
You will drive strategic prioritization of technical risks, identify and resolve critical release blockers, and champion continuous process improvements that balance speed with stability. Using industry-standard tools like JIRA and Confluence, you will maintain transparency through data-driven metrics and real-time communication across stakeholders.
Required: 4+ years managing technical programs in high-paced, mission-critical software environments; eligibility for US Top Secret clearance; deep technical acumen in software development lifecycles, system architectures, testing methodologies, and QA principles; proven ability to identify and drive critical path issues to resolution; exceptional communication skills translating technical details to diverse audiences; data-driven analytical mindset; and strong organizational skills in fast-moving environments.
Desired: Direct experience with release management, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced software build systems in complex multi-component environments; background in defense, hardware, autonomy, or robotics deployments; ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments with minimal oversight; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
