NODA AI is a veteran-owned, venture-backed technology company developing next-generation autonomous orchestration solutions for unmanned systems across air, sea, land, and space domains. The company serves defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors with mission-critical autonomy capabilities.
As Senior Technical Program Manager for the Autonomy team, you will own day-to-day coordination and execution discipline across the autonomy engineering organization. You will serve as the connective tissue between engineering execution and program delivery, translating complex multi-domain autonomy requirements into disciplined, on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead requirement intake and refinement for autonomy capabilities (perception, path planning, guidance/navigation/control, multi-agent/swarm coordination), translating product and mission intent into clear, testable engineering requirements
- Maintain requirement traceability from initiative through epic, story, and acceptance criteria
- Enforce scope discipline and manage changes through explicit intake and change-control processes
- Maintain current status in Jira across initiatives, epics, and stories; own blocked-initiative log
- Enforce Jira hygiene and configuration to ensure reliable system of record
- Own and facilitate all Autonomy team sprint ceremonies (planning, standup, review, retro, backlog refinement)
- Manage cross-team dependencies across Autonomy, Core, Systems, Solutions, and Release Engineering
- Produce technical briefs and status reporting for program stakeholders
Required qualifications: 8+ years technical program/project management for software or autonomy engineering teams; demonstrated mastery of requirement management on complex programs; substantial hands-on experience with autonomy systems (unmanned/robotic platforms, perception, path planning, GNC, multi-agent coordination); high Jira fluency; excellent communication; experience standing up new process frameworks; U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
Preferred: background in autonomy, robotics, aerospace, or defense programs; familiarity with simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, or field test environments; Agile/PM certifications (SAFe, Scrum, PMP, Lean Six Sigma); product management or process improvement experience; experience in AI- and autonomy-forward environments.
The role requires critical thinking, proactive collaboration, precision in requirements discipline, comfort at the intersection of software/controls/hardware, Jira power-user mindset, and strong cross-functional facilitation skills.
