IonQ, a publicly traded quantum computing leader (NYSE: IONQ), is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join Capella, its national security and advanced sensing division. Capella develops secure, mission-ready intelligence solutions spanning space systems, quantum-enabled technologies, and mission-critical operations.
In this role, you will oversee cross-functional teams managing complex technology projects from conception through delivery. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while managing stakeholders, schedules, budgets, and risk/opportunity assessments. Your work will span component-level upgrades, component design, and integration efforts with next-generation spacecraft systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technology projects through their full lifecycle: planning, execution, closure, stakeholder management, and issue/dependency resolution
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project portfolios aligned with business objectives
- Tracking and maintaining schedules and status across multiple concurrent development projects
- Prioritizing projects and programs based on strategic importance, resource availability, and business impact
- Managing technical and strategic alignment across teams
You will directly contribute to large-scale, high-impact efforts within the company, working alongside innovative minds in space systems and quantum-enabled technologies.
