Chainguard is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to bring structure and visibility to its security organization. The role operates horizontally across three security teams—Product Security, Cyber Resiliency, and Governance & Trust—coordinating priorities, dependencies, and execution while maintaining close day-to-day partnership with team members.
Key responsibilities include owning workflow, project tracking, and dependency management across security teams; building dashboards and reporting that give company leadership clear visibility into security risk, exposure, and program health; making prioritization decisions when demand exceeds capacity; and designing lightweight processes that improve team effectiveness without creating unnecessary overhead. You'll work directly with product, engineering, legal, finance, sales, and marketing to establish effective cross-functional collaboration with security.
This is a strategic, foundational role with substantial room to grow. You won't inherit a fully defined playbook—you'll help create it, establishing processes and prioritization mechanisms that give the security organization greater clarity and leverage. Over time, your impact will expand beyond security into broader company-wide programs and operating processes.
