Snowflake is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Application Experience (AppEx) engineering organization, which builds developer-facing products including Streamlit, Notebooks, Native Apps, Cortex Code, and Snowpark drivers. This is a greenfield TPM role—the first embedded in AppEx—offering the opportunity to shape program management practices and operating rhythms as the org scales.
You will own and drive complex, cross-functional programs spanning multiple AppEx teams (Applications, Notebooks, Native Apps, Drivers, AIML, Developer Platform) from scoping through delivery. Key responsibilities include partnering with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Principal Engineers to define roadmaps and execution plans; serving as connective tissue across sub-orgs to maintain alignment and unblock dependencies; establishing clear reporting cadences with milestone tracking, risk management, and escalation protocols; driving cross-org alignment on shared APIs and developer-facing feature launches; identifying systemic friction in planning and delivery processes; and representing AppEx programs to senior leadership with data-backed status and recommendations.
Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of technical program management experience at cloud software companies, with a proven track record owning complex, cross-team programs end-to-end. You should have deep familiarity with developer-facing products or platform engineering, demonstrated ability to work directly with engineers and architects on technical design, strong cross-functional leadership skills, comfort operating in ambiguity, and excellent communication across engineers and executives. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Experience with modern cloud-native development (CI/CD, release management, API-first), Snowflake or data platforms, AI/ML product development, developer ecosystem programs, and high-growth post-IPO tech environments is a plus.
