Exiger is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to serve as the primary technical interface for defense supply chain risk management initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of industrial base analysis, manufacturing science, and Department of Defense acquisition strategy, supporting the identification, assessment, and validation of mitigation strategies across defense sustainment and modernization supply chains.
You will provide expert operational and technical guidance to senior civilian and uniformed leaders at the Department of War and Service headquarters level, translating complex analytical outputs into decision-grade recommendations aligned with strategic priorities and operational risk tolerance. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading customer engagements on mitigation strategy design and execution, presenting findings to executive stakeholders, and advising on the technical feasibility and industrial realism of proposed supply chain risk mitigations.
Key responsibilities include: serving as the primary technical point of contact for government customers; engaging regularly with executive-level stakeholders across Army, Navy, Air Force, and joint commands; presenting complex technical and analytical findings in formats suitable for senior decision-making; validating supply chain risk mitigations through expert judgment on technical feasibility, industrial capacity, and policy authority; collaborating with engineers and data scientists to guide the design of automated supply chain risk management workflows; and translating analytical outputs into actionable courses of action that identify tradeoffs, timelines, and constraints.
This position requires deep expertise in defense industrial base dynamics, acquisition authorities, and supply chain resilience. You will coach government stakeholders on mitigation strategies aligned with strategic technology priorities and real-world industrial constraints. The role is based in Huntsville, AL or McLean, VA with hybrid flexibility and remote eligibility for qualified candidates.
