As Senior Technical Account Manager, you will own the post-sale technical relationship for an assigned portfolio of Enterprise customer accounts, driving product adoption, environment health, and long-term value realization. This is a senior individual-contributor role where you will typically manage Nerdio's largest, most complex, or highest-risk accounts while providing technical mentorship to other TAMs.
Key responsibilities include:
**Onboarding & Implementation:** Lead the Sales-to-CS handoff by reviewing PoV plans and scoping documents; conduct technical kickoff calls covering environment review and use-case setup; run structured 30/60/90-day check-ins; own technical delivery including AVD, Windows 365, Intune, and Nerdio Manager setup; coordinate with customer technical teams; and guide customers through implementation and optimization toward steady-state use.
**Account Management & Relationship Ownership:** Manage a book of Enterprise accounts serving as the primary technical point of contact; advocate for customers and build strong relationships with technical stakeholders; serve as a trusted technical advisor with consistent engagement; coordinate technical touchpoints across IT operations, engineering, and finance; own the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal; develop account strategies aligned to customer goals; and mentor other TAMs on best practices.
**Technical Advisory & Support:** Maintain deep product knowledge of Nerdio Manager and the AVD/Azure ecosystem; act as the go-to technical resource for assigned customers resolving issues and answering product questions; escalate to training, Solutions Engineering, or specialists as needed; and provide proactive recommendations for optimization and feature adoption.
**Requirements:**
- 5+ years of experience in technical account management, customer success, or solutions engineering roles
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, AVD, Windows 365, Intune) or equivalent enterprise infrastructure platforms
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-value customer relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with customer onboarding, implementation, and lifecycle management
- Project management and time-management skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
**Preferred Experience:**
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a technical account management function
- Certifications in relevant technical areas or project management
