You will join Bevi's manufacturing and quality team as a Senior Sustaining Quality Engineer, reporting to the Director of Quality Engineering. This role is central to measuring, improving, and maintaining product quality across Bevi's connected beverage platform. You will work closely with sustaining engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams to identify and prioritize improvement targets. Key responsibilities include: - Lead the quality team in identifying product quality issues, driving design changes and engineering change orders (ECOs) on production products to ensure quality and reliability standards are met across components, subsystems, and final products - Serve as subject matter expert for Customer Care and Field Service teams, triaging and resolving quality issues impacting end-customers while maintaining top-level quality metrics - Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) frameworks to product, process, and supplier changes to drive proactive quality approaches and minimize reactive risks - Lead implementation and upkeep of key quality processes including CTQ definition, PFMEAs, quality control plans, MSA/GR&R, FAI, and Ok2Ship - Ensure excellent manufacturing quality through tight process controls, preventive measures, and timely corrective action implementation - Lead quality actions with the Supply Chain team to qualify new and alternate suppliers and manage supplier changes - Act as technical liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to ensure requirements are understood and achievable - Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams for full Root Cause Analysis on manufacturing failures and end-customer issues - Regularly generate, publish, and present quality KPIs and relevant company metrics to leadership - Maintain suppliers' quality data collection activities and run periodic reports to summarize data and recommend continual improvement activities You will be expected to be in the office 4-5 days per week and travel up to 20% (primarily domestic, with some international travel as needed). REQUIREMENTS: - 5-7 years minimum work experience as Quality Engineer, or 2-3 years at Senior QE level; sustaining engineering experience preferred - Demonstrated capacity to lead with tenacity and grace while acting as a culture carrier during growth and challenge - Strong communication skills; ability to facilitate discussion and present data to all organizational levels - Strong analytical and technical skills to interpret specifications and drawings, perform problem solving and data analysis leading to improvement initiatives - Very strong background in APQP, statistical tools, PFMEAs, quality control plans, PPAP, and root cause problem solving tools such as 8D - Experience leading Process Improvement Teams and managing major projects - Experience with SPC tools and deep understanding of their application to measuring process reliability and repeatability in the supply chain - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering - Commercial appliance industry experience and knowledge of NSF and UL standards (preferred) - ASQ certifications of CQE and CQA (preferred) - Passion for delivering best-in-class quality to customers and stakeholders
