Amca is building America's new industrial base by rapidly developing and manufacturing critical components and subsystems for aviation and military platforms. The company operates seven factories nationwide and delivers avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components for aircraft like the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, and A320neo, as well as military vehicles and infrastructure. As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will own the master production schedule for the El Segundo facility and play a central role in shaping Amca's custom-built ERP and MRP system. This is a dual-track role combining hands-on supply chain execution with strategic system design. In the MRP design track, you will define planning requirements covering demand calculation, bill-of-materials handling, lead times, order policies, and exception logic. You'll work directly with the engineering team through design, build, and release phases, test new functionality against real production data, and establish planning processes and standards that will scale across all seven factories as the homegrown ERP rolls out. In the operational track, you will own the master production schedule, setting build sequence, quantities, and dates against customer commitments and factory capacity. You'll review MRP output after each run, release purchase order requests with sufficient lead time, and manage priority shifts as schedules change. You'll maintain all planning data—lead times, order policies, safety stock, lot sizes, yields, and BOMs—ensuring they match what the floor builds and what supply chain buys. You'll drive engineering changes through the system as revisions move and reconcile inventory records to cycle counts, WIP, and receipts. Cross-functionally, you'll release RFPOs early with the detail buyers need to prioritize, work with production and manufacturing engineering on build feasibility and new part introduction, and flag shortages and schedule risks early with specific parts, dates, and impact. You'll also set the bar for future planners through documentation and training. Success in year one means your signals are trusted by buyers and production, the MRP system is measurably better, manual corrections have decreased, and planning documentation enables the next planner to learn the role.
