Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer to lead electrical supplier quality and production strategy across the company's defense technology portfolio. This high-visibility, cross-functional role bridges internal engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams while working directly with suppliers to execute production strategies from new product introduction through full-scale manufacturing.
You will own electrical commodities and subcategories, managing supplier production execution across Anduril's business lines. Key responsibilities include vetting supplier production capabilities and facilities for inclusion on the Approved Supplier List, supporting Supplier Quality Engineers in ensuring adherence to quality criteria, and bringing up new production tooling and lines at supplier sites. You'll manage capacity expansion readiness and production ramp-up, establish and drive statistical process control reviews, and identify opportunities for product and process improvements to reduce cost, supply risk, and defects while improving cycle time.
The role requires significant travel (60%+) to supplier sites and key manufacturing locations to solve high-stakes challenges in real-time, embedding with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. You'll support root cause analysis task forces, work with suppliers on corrective and preventative actions, and optimize factory layouts for efficiency.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field, plus 6+ years of supplier quality and industrialization experience in manufacturing environments. Technical expertise in electronics/mechanical fabrication, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T is essential. Preferred qualifications include a degree in electrical or electronics engineering, prior defense/aerospace/automotive/high-tech industry experience, familiarity with quality systems and certifications, and exposure to high-mix, low-volume product development in fast-paced startup environments. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
