Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer to join the Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team. This high-profile, cross-functional role is central to enabling development and production flow of Anduril's critical supply base. You will coordinate closely with internal engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing departments, as well as directly with suppliers, to execute effective supply chain strategies and achieve production goals. Key responsibilities include owning and managing mechanical commodities (machining, stamping, etc.) to execute supplier production strategies from new product introduction through full production across Anduril's business lines. You will vet suppliers' production capabilities, factory layouts, facilities, and workforce for inclusion in Anduril's Approved Supplier List. You'll support Supplier Quality Engineers in ensuring suppliers understand and adhere to part quality criteria, and own manufacturing process development at supplier locations, including initialization of new production lines and tooling to meet product performance, quality, and production rate requirements. Additional responsibilities include owning the roadmap for capacity expansion, manufacturing readiness, and production ramp-up at suppliers; establishing and driving performance via statistical process control reviews; identifying and driving product and process improvements and factory layout optimization to lower part costs, reduce supply risk, eliminate defects, and improve cycle time; and supporting root cause analysis task forces by working with supply chain teams and suppliers to close corrective and preventative action loops. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field, plus 6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment. You must have specific category technical expertise in composites and thermoplastics manufacturing, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T. The role requires 50% travel and relocation to Huntsville, AL if not already local. U.S. security clearance eligibility and maintenance is required. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in mechanical or metallurgical/materials engineering, previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries, strong understanding of quality systems and certifications, familiarity with high-mix, low-volume product development, exposure to fast-paced startup environments, and excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
