Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Supervisor for Manufacturing Operations to lead the Core Tech manufacturing team in Costa Mesa. This role manages a team of up to 30 production technicians responsible for manufacturing cutting-edge defense and commercial products powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system. Key responsibilities include: - Managing technician staff through all phases of production, from assembly through acceptance testing and delivery - Setting daily priorities and directing operations, including work order issuance and completion tracking - Ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures and proactively identifying safety improvements - Maintaining on-time delivery targets and managing production schedules - Participating in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives - Managing production systems (NetSuite/JIRA) and inventory tracking - Providing weekly production reports on progress, blockers, and risks - Leading cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams - Supporting operator training and skill development - Executing standardized manufacturing instructions and control plans - Conducting root cause investigations and corrective action tracking - Generating daily quality reports and pass-downs Required qualifications include 6+ years managing or supervising in high-volume production, strong manufacturing fundamentals knowledge, understanding of product lifecycle and LEAN principles, ability to interpret technical documentation, hands-on production floor experience, and proven troubleshooting skills. Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA compliance.
