Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. They own and operate every layer of the stack—from power generation to cloud services—to solve the critical bottleneck of energy availability for AI. In this Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist role, you'll lead procurement strategy and execution for cloud data center infrastructure equipment categories. You'll own the full lifecycle: market analysis, strategy development, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management. Working closely with Data Center Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams, you'll be instrumental in scaling Crusoe's infrastructure while optimizing cost, quality, and service delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and executing sourcing strategies for multiple equipment categories; managing RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs; conducting vendor analysis and comparative evaluations; negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships; identifying procurement process improvements; and communicating status and risks to stakeholders. You'll analyze product and pricing data, prepare bid summaries and commercial recommendations, and build long-term strategic supplier partnerships. You bring 2-5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience, ideally in a high-growth tech or startup environment. You have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field; strong analytical and Excel skills; solid negotiation experience; and excellent stakeholder communication abilities. Bonus qualifications include data center colocation provider experience, industry certifications (CPM, CPSM, CPSD, MCIPS, APICS, CPIM, CSCP, CTSC), or MBA pursuit. This is a foundational role for someone ready to scale their career in sourcing and procurement within a mission-driven, well-funded technology company. The position offers competitive compensation, RSUs, comprehensive benefits, and significant growth opportunity in a high-impact industry.
