Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead strategic programs and initiatives across the Mid-Market Product Development organization. This is a high-impact individual contributor role (Staff level) that does not manage people but operates with significant influence across the organization.
You will drive complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through delivery, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
**Portfolio & Strategic Leadership**: Partner with portfolio leadership to unblock program teams and guide delivery across a broad program portfolio. Connect dots across programs to simplify priorities for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Influence prioritization and tradeoff discussions with Product and Engineering leaders. Leverage AI tools and data insights to streamline operations and accelerate execution velocity.
**Cross-Domain Execution & Dependency Leadership**: Lead cross-team dependency forums across engineering domains, driving horizontal alignment. Define and implement program frameworks and consistent operating cadences. Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, architectural misalignment, and execution bottlenecks using data-informed decision-making. Drive clarity on priorities, roles, and outcomes across multiple scrum teams.
**Roadmapping & Planning**: Partner with engineering leaders to develop and maintain six-quarter capability roadmaps aligned to product and business strategies. Translate business and platform strategy into clear program goals, milestones, and measurable success metrics. Define repeatable frameworks and processes that improve delivery speed, quality, and scalability.
**Stakeholder Communication & Culture**: Drive transparency through clear, actionable communication at all levels—from engineering teams to senior leadership. Build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Business Operations. Define and implement program management best practices; coach and mentor other TPMs to raise organizational standards.
Required: 8+ years in technical program management, engineering, architecture, or related roles. Proven ability to influence Director/VP-level stakeholders without direct authority. Strong technical depth to engage credibly with senior engineers and architects. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly with executive audiences. Demonstrated success driving complex, multi-domain initiatives with significant dependencies.
Preferred: Experience with platform or large-scale enterprise systems, BI/data platforms, AI-driven capabilities, or deploy programs.
