IonQ, a publicly traded quantum computing leader (NYSE: IONQ), is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of a portfolio of spacecraft programs at Capella, an IonQ company focused on national security, advanced sensing, and next-generation compute. In this role, you will lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full program lifecycle—from early development through qualification, production, and delivery. You will own schedule, budget, and risk management for sophisticated aerospace hardware programs. Your responsibilities include: - Leading end-to-end spacecraft programs from concept through production and delivery - Managing a diverse portfolio of projects aligned to business and technical strategy - Driving clarity, accountability, and measurable progress across multiple concurrent development efforts - Serving as a trusted technical leader and strategic advisor to cross-functional teams - Mentoring and developing other program managers and team members to elevate programmatic excellence - Fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration You will bring deep domain expertise in aerospace hardware development, sound judgment in complex trade-offs, and a proven track record of delivering mission-critical programs. This is a high-impact role where you will directly influence major company initiatives in space systems and quantum-enabled technologies.
