Salary: USD 230,000 - 280,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates every layer of the stack—from power generation to cloud services—to solve the fundamental bottleneck of AI compute: energy.
You will join Crusoe's Cloud Engineering organization (currently 380 people, scaling to 550) as a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on operational excellence and cross-functional coordination at scale.
Your primary responsibilities:
**Engineering Operations:** You will own and run programs that improve the KPI infrastructure across the organization, including SLO dashboards, incident follow-up completion rates, on-call burden, deployment velocity, and initiative trackers. You'll surface where the organization needs to improve and drive execution against those improvements. You'll partner with engineering, SRE, customer success, and data engineering to maintain accurate, consistently reported operational data. Your goal is to create a single pane of glass that makes organizational and deployment health immediately visible to leadership.
**Deployment Ownership:** You own the quality checks that ensure seamless handoffs between teams (DCOps, Cloud Engineering, TPM) during data center deployments. You have the authority to pull in resources needed to deliver compute capacity to customers. You'll be the single point of authority to coordinate the right teams when issues surface during deployments, replacing today's fragmented, ticket-driven processes. You own the deployment process end-to-end and will evolve it as the company scales headcount and site count.
**Strategic Support:** You'll support the Chief of Staff on cross-cutting initiatives that don't have a natural single owner.
You bring 12+ years in software engineering, technical program management, or technical product roles, with deep exposure to production systems and infrastructure. You've thrived in high-growth environments where processes are still being built and ambiguity is the norm. You're a natural coordinator who works across teams without formal authority—DCOps, Network, and engineering leads trust you because you follow through. You can transform messy, multi-source data into clear pictures of organizational health and understand (or quickly learn) the full data center build lifecycle from project planning through physical-to-digital handoff. You're scrappy, low-ego, and high-drive—willing to build programs and tooling yourself when it doesn't exist, and you care more about outcomes than credit.
Bonus experience includes time at AWS, GCP, Azure, CoreWeave, or similar cloud providers; experience running or improving data center deployments; familiarity with incident management platforms like incident.io, Opsgenie, or PagerDuty at scale; and background in AI/ML infrastructure.
