Ripple is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead and develop the Trust Platform—a suite of programmable controls, integrations, and tools that enable secure and reliable operation as the company expands into regulated markets including banks and other regulated entities.
In this role, you will own the product roadmap for high-stakes regulatory surfaces, determining which features belong in the platform and which should become reusable components for other teams. You will assess how the roadmap withstands scrutiny from regulators, bank diligence teams, and internal product teams. Close collaboration with Compliance, Legal, and Engineering is essential, with you maintaining clear responsibility for product decisions and direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the roadmap for regulatory-critical surfaces and getting ahead of new jurisdictions and requirements, building durability sufficient for bank-grade diligence.
- Defining the scope and architecture of the Trust Platform by identifying which components should be reusable, establishing initial use cases, and managing the balance between flexibility and control as other teams build upon it.
- Building tooling for information-request and review workflows that scales across product lines without proportional headcount growth.
- Translating regulatory and risk requirements from Compliance and Legal into actionable product decisions, operating independently across a wide collaborator matrix while retaining clear product ownership.
The role addresses a critical inflection point: the regulatory landscape is expanding across jurisdictions and counterparties; trust and programmable controls are becoming competitive advantages in selling to regulated institutions; and the platform opportunity is ready for focused product invention work.
Ripple operates with a hybrid model, with flexibility for teams to determine in-office collaboration (10+ days per month). The company emphasizes fast-paced startup culture, professional development, and a collaborative environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7 years of experience in fintech, crypto, or another regulated technology space, with significant tenure as a Product Manager at Staff or Senior Staff level.
- Proven history of developing and expanding platform products—reusable primitives and APIs that other teams depend on.
- Experience in compliance, risk, trust and safety, or another high-stakes regulatory domain, with technical depth to reason about system architecture and tradeoffs.
- Ability to operate independently across Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and other product teams while maintaining clear product ownership.
- Comfort prioritizing and building something new in a high-ambiguity environment.
