CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Staff Business Systems Analyst to lead enterprise business analysis and systems initiatives supporting the company's strategic programs and operational transformation. The role focuses on driving NPI (new product introduction), manufacturing, and supply chain processes for CesiumAstro's electronic assemblies for satellites and aerospace platforms.
You will be responsible for leading corporate business analysis initiatives that support strategic programs and organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include developing business requirements, solution strategies, process models, and functional specifications for complex enterprise initiatives. You will evaluate business processes and system capabilities to develop scalable solutions, recommend system enhancements aligned with enterprise priorities, and lead corporate business system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and integration initiatives.
The role requires providing strategic functional leadership throughout solution design, testing, deployment, and organizational adoption. You will evaluate business system performance and recommend improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness. You will partner with IT leadership to prioritize enterprise technology initiatives and with executive leadership to align business systems with organizational strategy. Your work will include facilitating executive discussions, business process reviews, and solution planning sessions for complex initiatives, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives and developing enterprise standards and best practices.
This is a hands-on position in a dynamic startup environment where your work will have direct impact on company success. You will work closely with engineering teams, program management, and supply chain to industrialize processes for space products in a market combining space-industry rigor with commercial electronics scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of related experience; OR Master's degree with 8+ years of related experience in business systems analysis, business analysis, information systems, operations, project management, or related discipline
- Expert knowledge of business analysis methodologies, enterprise systems, business process transformation, and process architecture
- Expertise in requirements engineering, workflow optimization, solution architecture, and enterprise process modeling
- Strong proficiency in evaluating complex business processes, system capabilities, integration requirements, data flows, and operational dependencies
- Strategic understanding of systems integration, process governance, solution scalability, and technology capabilities
- Advanced analytical judgment in translating operational requirements into scalable business system solutions
- Business acumen in aligning business systems with organizational objectives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience with ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or equivalent)
- Expertise in business process management tools (Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent)
- Business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Aerospace or high-reliability industry experience
- AS9100/ISO9001 quality management system proficiency
- Lean manufacturing methodologies
