Salary: USD 71,539 - 93,895 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Specialist, Network Contracting to join their Network Contracting team. This role is responsible for negotiating and managing Single Case Agreements (SCAs) with healthcare providers—hospitals, health systems, and individual practitioners—to build and maintain a robust provider network in assigned markets/regions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiating contracts with assigned healthcare providers, focusing on favorable terms, organizational standards, and regulatory compliance
- Conducting comprehensive reviews and analyses of provider contracts to identify optimization opportunities
- Utilizing data and analytics to inform negotiation and contracting decisions, including analysis of provider financial performance and competitor strategies
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for network performance, cost, and provider satisfaction
- Ensuring timely and professional resolution of provider issues
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with healthcare providers to ensure network stability and quality
- Supporting provider onboarding, training, and resource distribution
- Collaborating with internal teams (Claims, Credentialing, Contracting) to resolve provider issues
- Participating in process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and enhance provider experience
- Supporting implementation of contracting policies and workflows
The role reports to the Director, Network Contracting. While work is completed remotely from home, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. The position is open to candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas.
