Moxie empowers aesthetic entrepreneurs to build profitable, independent practices. The company has grown to support 700+ practices nationwide with a global, remote-first team.
You will own billing, collections, and reconciliation end-to-end for Moxie, serving as the single point of contact for service teams on billing questions. This is a high-autonomy role with direct visibility to leadership.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the complete billing, collections, and reconciliation process end-to-end
- Lead the implementation of a new accounting system from scoping through go-live, serving as the backbone for billing operations
- Build automation and reporting that transforms billing from manual, spreadsheet-driven processes into a scalable system
- Establish consistent overdue invoice tracking and drive visible reduction in aged accounts receivable
- Create live, self-updating dashboards for leadership showing invoiced/collected/charged/delta metrics
- Identify and solve structural problems exposed by the migration (e.g., reconciliation across entities or revenue types)
- Map how each revenue type is currently calculated, billed, and reconciled, identifying manual breakpoints
- Redesign processes based on this understanding, not just operate existing systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance on month-end close and service teams on billing needs
This role offers end-to-end ownership of a critical business function, the opportunity to shape how billing operations work, and a rare resume outcome: "I led this end-to-end."
Requirements:
- Experience fully mapping revenue type calculations, billing, and reconciliation processes, including identifying manual breakpoints
- Proven track record owning a system implementation or migration end-to-end (scoping, sequencing, executing), not just working within a system someone else built
- Demonstrated ability to build repeatable, automated processes from manual or spreadsheet-heavy foundations
- Comfort operating with real autonomy and ambiguity; this role has one owner, not a committee
- Strong cross-functional collaboration instincts, particularly with Finance and service teams
- Ability to know when to move independently and when to flag issues to Finance or leadership
