The company develops Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into a real-time 3D command and control center. This role is a strategic supplier engineering position focused on supply network development and cost management across Anduril's product hardware lifecycles. You will drive supplier selection for specific products using approved supplier lists and partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development. Key activities include concept scoping, feature trade-off analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, joint design development with clear statements of work, and simulation of mechanical and electronics designs. Responsibilities include developing and consolidating manufacturing BOMs in collaboration with Quality and Manufacturing teams, managing NPI component procurement to scale production internally and with suppliers, and overseeing supplier-related CAPEX verification throughout the NPI phase. You will conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility, complete BOM risk assessments with per-part analysis, and ensure component qualifications are completed ahead of production needs. Additional duties involve reducing supply chain complexity through commonality optimization and component/supplier rationalization, leading all cost engineering activities to align bottom-up cost curves with product targets, and managing ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation. REQUIREMENTS: - Background in design and development of mechanical and/or electronics devices - Advanced sourcing experience, including commodity or sourcing manager positions - Supplier development expertise (technology, process, supply chain) - Early supplier engagement experience ahead of product/engineering requirement realization - Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at component and product levels - Familiarity with developing high-tech products in high-mix, low-volume environments - Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or related technical degree - Must be eligible to obtain an Australian NV1 security clearance
