Salary: USD 200,000 - 240,000 / annual
Sentry is an application monitoring platform trusted by 200,000+ organizations that helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice. The Solutions Engineering team is responsible for helping Sentry's largest customers successfully embed Sentry into their applications and workflows, from SDK integration to ensuring alerts and issues reach the right teams.
In this role, you will:
- Understand customers' pain points and objectives, translating them into implementation and onboarding plans that demonstrate business value
- Develop best practices, educational offerings, and content around error and performance management, including how-to articles, videos, and product-specific guidance
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert for customers on software engineering instrumentation and monitoring best practices
- Conduct workshop-level interactions with customers to drive maturity of use and broader adoption of Sentry
- Work cross-functionally with internal product and development teams, providing customer feedback and helping align Sentry's roadmap with improving time-to-value delivery

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of experience with a mix of Software Engineering and Solutions Engineering/Implementation roles
- Hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript, Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, React, React Native, and Mobile Native (iOS and/or Android)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving ability, technical knowledge, and a can-do attitude
