Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) Group 5 Simulation team develops simulation capabilities, infrastructure, and analysis tools for autonomous robotics systems including the Fury unmanned fighter jet and Barracuda family of advanced effects. The team analyzes thousands of hours of autonomous flight time daily before deploying software on real vehicles.
In this role, you will:
- Scale simulation infrastructure for training ML models and quantifying robotics performance
- Build cloud-based ETL pipeline infrastructure using Spark, Flyte, and Airflow
- Develop automated and generative simulation environments for robotics testing
- Create Python tooling for simulation infrastructure and orchestration
You will work on foundational simulation capabilities that support current and future Group 5 vehicle programs, enabling rapid iteration and validation of autonomous flight systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in autonomous systems, aerospace, robotics, or other mission-critical domains
- Extensive experience developing simulation tools and infrastructure for leading commercial autonomous vehicle companies
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and understanding of their core services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with embedded Linux systems development and associated tools
- Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (auditd, journald, selinux, Splunk)
