As a Senior Software Engineer on the Product team, you will design and build features that healthcare providers use daily in patient care. You'll take ownership of meaningful product initiatives end-to-end—from shaping the user experience with product and design partners to shipping high-quality code to production. In your first six months, you'll be a key voice in how the team builds, ensuring fast iteration without sacrificing reliability and craftsmanship. You'll work across the full stack, from architecting major product features leveraging AI advancements to anticipating system bottlenecks and proactively re-architecting components before they impact customers. You'll lead high-strategic-value product initiatives, accelerate iteration speed, prevent technical debt accumulation, and help establish engineering processes that encourage shipping quality code.
The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the San Francisco office. You'll operate in a high-ownership, high-trust environment focused on solving mission-critical problems in complex, high-stakes healthcare workflows.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent
- 5+ years tackling challenging zero-to-one software engineering problems spanning multiple teams
- Strong product instinct with focus on end-user experience, not just technical implementation
- Comfortable moving across the stack with solid experience in modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Postgres, Docker)
- Demonstrated ability to own execution from inception through successful outcomes
