As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own the end-to-end development and technical success of significant features within a product module. You will design, build, and evolve scalable SaaS applications using .NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern UI frameworks (Flutter/React). Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver significant features end-to-end, resolving technical ambiguity independently without escalation; drive estimation and planning for your own work.
- Design components with clear interfaces, extensibility, and testability; make sound architectural decisions within your domain and lead technical design reviews.
- Drive testing standards and coverage; contribute to and improve the team's test automation infrastructure.
- Own compliance adherence for your components, understanding regulatory and data governance requirements; bring a security-first mindset including threat modeling.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver customer-centric features in an agile environment; challenge requirements and propose alternatives based on deep customer workflow understanding.
- Own production health for your components—monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and incident response; track feature performance and adoption.
- Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) throughout the engineering lifecycle for design, implementation, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to determine where AI-generated output can be trusted versus where human expertise is essential, particularly in security, data integrity, architecture, compliance, and customer-critical workflows.
- Write clear design documents and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7 years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale SaaS applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL Server/NoSQL) and modern UI frameworks (Flutter or React).
- 3+ years of experience building highly available, scalable, distributed cloud services (AWS or Azure).
- Strong system design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with ability to own complex technical problems within your area.
- Hands-on experience using modern AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) in a production environment.
- Strong engineering judgment to critically review AI-generated code, especially in areas involving security, performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, continuously evolving product organization.
- Plus: Experience building developer productivity tooling, prompt libraries, reusable workflows, MCP servers, or AI-enabled engineering automation.
- Plus: Passion for continuously learning emerging AI-assisted engineering practices and applying those that create measurable customer and engineering value.
