Salary: USD 128,842 - 232,200 / annual
Braze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Email team, responsible for building and maintaining core infrastructure that delivers billions of personalized emails monthly to customers' end users and processes associated reporting data. The role involves working with a highly parallelized platform for email personalization and sending at scale, REST APIs for managing and tracking user subscriptions, web pages for end-user preference management, and dashboards for configuring customer email domains.
In this position, you will collaborate with teammates to build new features, improve system performance, and provide guidance on key architectural decisions. You will tackle significant engineering challenges, including architecting new iterations of critical system components and optimizing systems for resilience as they scale. REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Experienced technical leader
- Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
- Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience working in team environments

- Professional experience building software at scale
- Professional experience with Ruby, Go, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Experience with MongoDB or Postgres
