OneCrew is modernizing the paving contracting industry with software and AI. As a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack), you'll work directly with co-founders and the engineering team to design, build, and ship products that empower paving contractors to estimate jobs, manage crews, and track profitability in real time.
You'll own the full stack—from backend systems to frontend interfaces—with a focus on reliability, performance, and scale. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and ship new products and features, including AI-powered automation and intelligence that help contractors make faster, better decisions
- Build AI-driven capabilities such as intelligent estimating, predictive crew optimization, and automated insights
- Own system reliability, performance, security, and observability; ensure the platform scales as the customer base grows
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to translate ideas into elegant, practical solutions
- Refine technical standards and processes—testing, deployment, documentation, code review—to improve how the team builds and ships
- Champion a culture of craftsmanship and collaboration, helping shape team growth and learning

The role is based in San Francisco's Financial District with an expectation of 3+ days in-office weekly. You'll work in a collaborative environment of driven teammates, have direct access to founders, and participate in capturing a unique opportunity to transform an underserved industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience in a high-velocity environment
- Deep experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL (tech stack preference)
- Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
