Kaseya is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on QA automation to design, build, and maintain robust automated testing capabilities across enterprise software platforms. This is a hands-on software engineering role centered on test automation and engineering quality.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, test libraries, utilities, and reusable automation components. You'll build comprehensive automated test suites for enterprise SaaS applications, APIs, services, integrations, and distributed systems. Your work will span functional, integration, regression, API, and system-level testing, all written to production-quality standards.
Key responsibilities include analyzing existing application codebases to identify test coverage opportunities, developing and executing large-scale automation initiatives capable of delivering hundreds of automated test cases in short timeframes, and leveraging AI coding assistants and AI agents to accelerate test development, code analysis, debugging, and automation engineering. You'll work across application code, test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and production troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will take an existing codebase and, with limited direction, deliver hundreds of meaningful automated test cases within weeks while maintaining quality, reliability, and maintainability. You should demonstrate strong ownership, independently driving automation initiatives from design through implementation and production adoption.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming background
- 5+ years of hands-on test automation and QA automation framework development
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar)
- Deep expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure
- Strong understanding of API testing, functional testing, and integration testing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents
- Understanding of application security, scalability, reliability, observability, and distributed-system behavior
- Experience building automation at significant scale without excessive flakiness or maintenance overhead
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction
