UiPath is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SDE-3) to lead development efforts on the UiPath Automation Suite, a cloud-native application delivery platform that enables enterprises to deploy the entire UiPath Automation Cloud platform on-premises. The platform is containerized, heavily leverages Kubernetes and CNCF technologies, and scales from single-server to multi-hundred-server deployments.
In this role, you will lead the entire software development lifecycle—from ideation and design through implementation and scaling—ensuring robust, scalable, production-ready, and reliable software delivery. You will incubate new ideas and create roadmaps for your focus areas, analyze complex technical issues and technology choices, and communicate findings to drive team and stakeholder consensus. You will act as a liaison between engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, help recruit technical talent, and mentor a team of engineers while providing technical leadership.
You will be accountable for software deliverables meeting all quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, and testability requirements. You will help establish effective and agile engineering practices, serve as a product face for customer and partner onboarding, analyze product usage and operational data to drive systemic improvements, and work with security and compliance teams to identify and address relevant issues.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Hands-on expertise in data structures, algorithms, and real-world applications
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, synchronization, and cloud-native design
- Advanced knowledge of Linux, CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, ArgoCD, FluxCD), and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proven expertise in building high-availability services, web service development, and service-oriented architectures
- Strong skills in system architecture, design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences with strong ownership and accountability
- Proactive, adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset with bias for action
- Ability to take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and drive impactful results
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
