RADICL is a leading Cybersecurity-as-a-Service (CSaaS) provider protecting small and medium-sized businesses in the U.S. Defense Industrial Base and regulated industries. The company combines AI-powered virtual SOC capabilities with expert-driven 24/7 security operations, offering compliance management (CMMC, NIST CSF), threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
You will join the platform software team as a Senior Software Engineer focused on Go and infrastructure. This is a full software engineering role—approximately 60% production Go development and 40% infrastructure work (Terraform, GitHub Actions)—where infrastructure and CI/CD are owned by the software team rather than handed off to a separate DevOps function.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate production Go microservices, APIs, and data processing systems that power the virtual SOC platform on AWS
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code, including reusable modules, environment promotion, and safe plan/apply workflows
- Build and operate GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for build, test, image promotion, and deployment
- Mentor teammates on Go best practices and shipping practices; establish reusable "paved roads" that enable the team to own delivery confidently
- Debug across application code, AWS infrastructure, and deployment pipelines; improve reliability through post-incident analysis
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security in multi-tenant, mission-critical environments through code review, testing, documentation, and architectural clarity
- Collaborate with teammates to shift from one-off scripts to standardized, team-owned infrastructure patterns
You will work closely with an experienced founding team in a fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts platform reliability and team velocity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong production proficiency in Go (primary language for this role)
- Hands-on Terraform experience: reusable modules, remote state, environment-specific configuration, plan/apply workflows
- Experience building and operating GitHub Actions workflows: reusable workflows, secrets, environments, approval gates
- AWS infrastructure experience (IAM, networking, compute); ECS and/or EKS experience is a plus
- Docker containerization knowledge
- Distributed systems experience: microservices, APIs, production operations
- Unit and integration testing practices with CI quality gates
- Demonstrated ability to help other engineers own pipelines and infrastructure, not just operate them
- Observability skills: using logs, metrics, and traces to debug production services (a plus)
- Interest in cybersecurity, SIEM/SOC concepts, or compliance standards (CMMC, NIST) is highly valued
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field—or equivalent professional experience (typically 5+ years)
Note: You do not need to match every item to apply. Strong Go proficiency plus real experience shipping with Terraform or GitHub Actions is the core requirement.
