Ocuvera is an AI computer vision platform that monitors patients in real-time to prevent falls and serious harm in hospital settings. The company is a small, focused team where everyone ships and the work has direct life-saving consequences. You will own complex, open-ended technical problems end-to-end, from design through delivery. This is not a ticket-driven role—you'll take ambiguous challenges, determine the right solution, and execute without hand-holding. You'll work across a modern .NET and Azure stack alongside a small, hands-on team and have real influence over technical direction and architecture decisions. Your contributions will shape how the company builds. Key responsibilities include: - Owning solutions to complex technical problems from design through delivery - Contributing meaningfully to architecture and technical direction - Working across the full stack: backend services, cloud infrastructure, data, UI, and integrations - Raising the bar for engineers around you through code reviews, design discussions, and feedback - Identifying problems before they become incidents and driving fixes - Communicating technical tradeoffs clearly to both engineers and non-engineers The tech stack includes .NET/C#, WPF, ASP.NET, Blazor, MAUI, Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Azure SQL, AKS, Batch), SQL Server, ElasticSearch, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and C++/Python for specialized workloads. You don't need deep expertise in every layer but should be comfortable moving across them and learning quickly. The company values ownership, curiosity, judgment, and collaborative confidence. You should make the team around you better just by being in the room. This is an in-office role in Lincoln, NE where the team works better together in person. Requirements: - Meaningful experience building and owning production software systems - Proven track record of owning and delivering complex features or systems end-to-end - Strong foundation in .NET/C# and cloud-hosted architectures (Azure preferred) - Experience working in small, fast-moving teams where you wore multiple hats - Ability to design systems, not just implement them - Healthcare software experience is a plus but not required
