Salary: USD 135,000 - 165,000 / annual

Arkestro is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS company building a Predictive Procurement Platform that applies AI, game theory, and behavioral science to enterprise negotiations. The platform helps procurement teams move away from reactive supplier bidding toward data-driven offers that reduce friction and uncover savings. You will join as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead quality engineering processes and support the team in building increased capabilities and enhancements to the Arkestro platform. You will be responsible for finding and reporting software defects, identifying discrepancies between specification and system behavior, and developing robust testing strategies. Key responsibilities include: - Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality - Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure proper software behavior - Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria - Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test pass/fail conditions - Identify and escalate risks to product quality or process integrity - Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback into testing strategy - Participate in refinement and effort estimation to promote accurate planning - Maintain automation repositories using Github and run custom scripts - Participate in on-call rotation The role is remote-first with a team that regularly gathers in person for team building, design sprints, and customer visits. REQUIREMENTS: - At least 5 years of experience in a software quality assurance role - At least 5 years of experience in automated testing - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Mindset focused on holistic quality - Experience with programming languages such as Javascript, Typescript, Gherkin, SQL, or Ruby/Rails NICE TO HAVE: - Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest/Puppeteer, Playwright, Postman, JMeter, or other object-oriented based frameworks) - Experience with testing support functionalities (Github Actions, Lambdatest, Sendgrid, Datadog, PagerDuty) - Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes - Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience
