Salary: GBP 64,900 - 87,900 / annual
Clio is seeking a Senior Resource Manager to oversee resource demand, scale, and utilisation across its Professional Services organisation spanning EMEA, NAMER, and APAC regions. This strategic role manages both internal and partner services teams, ensuring optimal staffing alignment with the sales pipeline, partner pipeline, Customer Success initiatives, and Service Desk operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Resource Planning & Allocation: Review demand weekly with PS leadership, sales, and Customer Success teams to identify service gaps. Strategically allocate resources based on skills and availability, resolve scheduling bottlenecks, and negotiate priorities across project managers. Monitor utilisation of internal, partner, and contractor staff continuously, repositioning capacity to maximise opportunities within PS, CS, Partners, or client engagements. Forecast staffing needs and forward-plan resource supply to ensure capability ahead of demand.
Talent & Capability Management: Define regional role requirements in collaboration with capability leads across Solution Architecture, Solution Consultants, Technical, Customer Success, and Project Management functions. Coordinate with partner organisations and contractor hire teams for tactical resource augmentation. Partner with Training Manager to ensure new hires receive planned, scheduled training. Maintain and monitor role competency frameworks, conduct regular skill gap analyses, and establish upskill plans. Track training progression and ensure resources reach expected competency levels. Collaborate with hiring managers on internal placements and learning pathways.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track billable and non-billable hours to maximise profitability and inform cost-per-customer metrics. Provide senior management with data on resource utilisation and project status.
Required: 5+ years in project management, resource planning, or consulting within large, complex Professional Services organisations. Strategic thinking, analytical skills for forecasting and optimisation, excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication, and proficiency with resource management and project management software.
