FlixBus is seeking a (Senior) Regional Operations Manager to lead operations across the Benelux region from the Amsterdam office. This role is central to shaping and improving regional operations for a tech-driven, fast-growing mobility marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own regional partnerships by building strong relationships with bus operators and partners, serving as the main operational contact and driving performance
- Lead improvement projects that enhance vehicle quality, driver standards, partner support, and overall service delivery
- Analyze KPIs and performance data to identify operational gaps, optimize the network, and translate insights into concrete actions
- Negotiate with partners on compliance, quality upgrades, and long-term commitments
- Work cross-functionally with headquarters, tech teams, and local staff to ensure seamless operations and aligned priorities
- Stay close to the field by visiting stations, gathering real-world feedback, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in fast-paced, tech-driven environments (bus/passenger transportation industry experience is a strong plus)
- Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a strong plus
- Analytical mindset with ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
- Proactive, solution-driven, and detail-oriented with strong ownership mentality
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, skilled in relationship building, negotiation, and cross-team influence
- Hands-on and field-oriented with a valid driving license and willingness to travel
