Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, AI, autonomy, and computer vision. The Business Development Recruiting team is responsible for attracting and hiring talent across Capture, Strategy & Proposals, Business Development Representatives, Government Relations, and Program Management functions. You will own full-cycle recruiting across Business Development, Government Relations, and Program Management, with flex support to adjacent Growth searches. You will build deep partnerships with hiring managers, becoming a trusted extension of their teams, while developing real relationships with candidates throughout the process. This role requires versatility to context-switch across searches demanding different domain fluency, candidate pools, and assessment approaches. In a given week you might source a Capture Manager with PEO experience, screen a Director of Business Development for the Air Force, and close a Senior Proposal Manager who has run $500M+ competitive bids. Key responsibilities include: owning end-to-end recruiting across BD, Government Relations, and Program Management; developing and executing sourcing strategies tailored to each sub-function; conducting screens that assess functional depth, customer knowledge, and organizational fit; managing the interview process from intake through close; partnering with BD and Growth leaders to understand hiring needs and candidate profiles; advising hiring managers on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and candidate availability; providing transparent pipeline updates and market intelligence; influencing role design by bringing external market perspective; owning the candidate experience from first outreach through close; maintaining ATS/CRM data integrity; identifying and implementing process improvements; and collaborating with the broader Talent Acquisition team to share market intelligence and best practices. You will need to learn each sub-function well enough to credibly evaluate candidates and advise hiring managers on talent strategy, market dynamics, and role design. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, closes with precision, and earns trust from both hiring managers and candidates through the quality of their work. REQUIREMENTS: - 5–8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Direct experience recruiting within business development, capture, proposals, government relations, program management, or adjacent growth functions — ideally in defense, aerospace, or national security - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent searches across different functional areas while maintaining quality and candidate experience - Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to advise, calibrate, and build trust with hiring managers across levels - Data-informed mindset: track pipeline metrics, use conversion data to diagnose search health, and present market intelligence to influence decisions - Clear, effective communication with candidates and hiring teams, with the ability to build rapport and assess fit across a range of BD disciplines - Ability to move fast and prioritize without letting quality or candidate experience slip - Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience recruiting in defense, aerospace, or a related industry where cleared talent, customer relationships, and program knowledge are central to candidate evaluation - Familiarity with the DoD acquisition ecosystem — understanding what a PEO does, how capture campaigns work, and why a candidate's program history matters - Experience recruiting across multiple BD sub-functions rather than a single specialty (e.g., both capture and government relations) - Track record of improving recruiting processes, interview design, or assessment frameworks - Working knowledge of security clearance processes and how clearance status affects pipeline timelines and offer strategy - Established network or sourcing muscle in the defense BD talent market, including candidates moving between primes, non-traditional defense companies, and government service
