Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Senior Quality Systems Engineer to join its Quality organization. This role focuses on developing and implementing a world-class Quality Management System (QMS) across Anduril's manufacturing sites, supplier operations, and Arsenal 1 facility.
You will lead the development and execution of QMS processes, managing the implementation of QMS software solutions across multiple Anduril sites. Key responsibilities include coordinating internal and external audits, partnering with product quality and manufacturing engineers to ensure new processes and sites meet QMS requirements, and developing a strategic roadmap for quality tools and capabilities as the company scales. You'll become the systems expert for Anduril's quality tools, processes, and datasets, communicating with external audit agencies and supporting customer audits as needed.
Additional duties include managing the internal auditor process, identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions, developing QMS training modules, and supporting investigations and projects at the organizational level.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of aerospace and/or defense manufacturing experience. You must have expert knowledge of QMS standards such as ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, AS6500, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2016, or TL 9000 R6.3. Working knowledge of QMS software solutions (Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, MasterControl, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, QT9) is essential, along with hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, and visualization. You should have demonstrated project management experience with software system implementation and supplier onboarding, working knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems, and a strong ownership mindset. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled data. Travel up to 20% is expected.
